
I love this picture! I wish that the women wasn't in it. The incomplete bodies left from the ruins of The Parthenon are kind of haunting.

This is another picture of light weight gold used to make a head wreath. It was in the ancient greece section at the British Museum as well.

The headless woman is beautifully carved so that you can see all of her movements. I loved this picture because of its emphasis of her with the flanking busts behind her in a symmetrical form.

The Word Into Art exhibit at the British Museum was fantastic. All of the artwork was created by using arabic lettering. These are some of the letters in a sculptural format. They were in the main lobby of the museum which is made from uniform stone and glass so the sculptures really made a statement.
