These chandeliers were hanging in the famous Hall of Mirrors at Versallies. They were doing a bit of refurbishing which some were sad about but I was not. The area they were cleaning was protected by black gypsum board and the lights were hanging down as if from a dark blackness. It was the perfect contrast to such a traditional, ornate room.

This is the view down the hall of several of the chandeliers.

The Orangerie at Versallies was beautiful. Every garden and fountain there was done on a ridiculious scale.

I took this photo by the lake area at Versallies where we rented row boats and paddled our way down the river. It is such and enticing path.
