This was a display at The Tower of London.



















This carving was done my one of the prisioners at The Tower of London. There room was full of elaborate carvings like this one but I was caught off guard by how deep this one was into the wall. I want to know how long it took. I can't imagine spending years in a room like this knowing that the fate of everyone there was bleak.









I took this picture in the courtyard at The Tower of London. Althought it is small, the glassed in area that is peeking throught the old structure caught my contemporary eye.


















Traitor's Gate - They used to bring the traitors in through a gate on the River Thames that was labeled Entry to the Traitor's Gate.
